Management and Evaluation in Libraries. Information Society Agnes Erich, Elena Tîrziman - Quality and Performance Evaluation of Digital Libraries in Romania Libraries are an integrant part of the national
informational system and strategic institutes ensuring access to any
kind of information. In the last decade, in Romania, different actions
were undertaken and important resources were been used in order to
develop digital libraries that can be accessed by IT & C systems,
especially via Internet. Until now, the projects and other development
initiatives for digital libraries – especially those financed through
budgetary funds – did not focus on the evaluation of satisfaction
degree for the on-line library users or fulfilling their quality needs
at a performance level (efficiency, effectiveness and utility) adequate
with the on-line library provided service. One of the main
contributions of this paper is the identifications of relationships
between the importance of digital library evaluation criteria and

of the biggest challenges of the XXI century technology and library
science (library consortia, library services assessment, information
literacy, RFID technology and institutional repositories), information
literacy enjoys the greatest interest. People access to information is
a complex processes that requires continuous training conducted by the
librarians who have to assume a teaching positions. Users are taught to
identify, locate and use information with efficiency and
responsibility. In order to be able to optimally carry out this
activity, libraries must have a detailed plan, from which institutional
collaborations are a must. Keywords: information literacy, access to information, library literacy Agnes Erich, Cristina Popescu - The Impact of Information Literacy in the Academic Education Environment Electronic
environmental impact on all sectors of social and economic life
influenced the academic training too. Thus, it is required to introduce
in training, indifferent of specialty disciplines, a course of
information literacy to develop theoretical knowledge and practical
skills concerning the construction, processing and communication of
information. The paper try to analyze what kind of methods and
resources must be used in information literacy instruction provided by

Gabriela Rusu-Păsărin - Apprehension of the Codex of Govora – A Comparative View The
first book of laws in Romanian language (1640), the Govora Code of Laws
or the Little Code of Laws is also a referential corpus of traditions
and popular beliefs on existential ceremonials. We aim to draw a
comparative analysis of the two reference levels, traditional Romanian
mentalists and Church discipline, the latter being subject to ancient
Byzantine law provisions and to the canons established by the Synods of
the Eastern Church. Popular beliefs and the Church code of laws have
convergences and divergences in the way the rituals of baptism,
marriage and funeral are carried out, and this is what motivates the
functioning of stereotypes due to the constraints of religious faith
and popular beliefs. Keywords:
the Codex of Govora, church code of laws, customs,
the law of the land, existential rituals Adina Berciu-Drăghicescu - Aspects in the religious life of Romanians from the Balkan Peninsula – the end of the 19th century – the beginning of of the 20th century. Archive Documents The
article presents on the basis of the archive documents aspects related
to the religious life of Romanians from the Balkan Peninsula between
the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. It
also presents the position which the Patriarchy in Constantinople had
during all this period of time concerning the actions of Romanians.
These were not successful but the situation changed after the issue of
the imperial resolution of 1905 which ensured the use of the Romanian
language and of the A-romanian dialect in church. Reports from conferences
